The first stop on my road trip was to Austin Texas, to visit a very special archive. I wanted to try and answer the burning questions I had about Lucinda’s upbringing. This episode includes stories about hidden letters, her father’s poetry, and the history of notable writers that surrounded Lucinda as she grew up.
